THE GREENE ROOM – Upstairs @ The Cricketers
• Fantastic contemporary décor with marvelous views
• Wide range of Coffees, Wines, Champagnes and Cocktails
• Available for private hire – perfect for stylish, exclusive gatherings!
The pub has been immortalised by Graham Greene in his classic novel "Brighton
Rock". In honour of that it was decided that the upstairs bar be refurbished
in 2005 and re-named The Greene Room. The Greene Room is now home to some of
the most spectacular memorabilia concerning Graham Greene and ‘Jack the
Ripper’ and can certainly keep one entertained whilst enjoying a classic
beverage.
The Greene Room also plays host to the company’s largest Cocktail and Wine
lists. Whilst keeping the traditional feel and standards of the rest of the estate
this bar has a modern twist that brings with it an extra appreciation for coffees
and wines by day and cocktails by night. Funky fuscia lighting combined with
creams and smooth browns help create a classically elegant ambience that is enjoyed
by many.
Size and location lend themselves perfectly to private hire. For more details
