Welcome to The Golden Lion Group, a family run pub company based in Sussex. Established in the early 1980’s the company began at The Longman of Wilmington in Patcham and has since reached double figures. The company operates a varied portfolio that includes community boozers, town centre pubs, classical wine bars and picturesque country pubs.

It is our aim to provide quality drink and food in a welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on our high standards of service, unrivalled cleanliness and immaculate presentation of our public houses & bars.

Thus far we have been successful in building a strong, discerning customer base and it is our hope that we can continue to deliver to both this generation and the next.

We are proud of our reputation within the local community and as such endeavour to use local suppliers where possible and we support a number of local charities, including The Martlets Hospice. As a founding member of the ALMR (Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers) we support the industry’s efforts in promoting responsible drinking and the drive to increase standards across the sector.
